Joyce V. LoPomo

Joyce V. LoPomo, 86, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed peacefully on January 8, 2021 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was born Joyce V. Hromchak on August 16, 1934 in Passaic, New Jersey. Joyce grew up in Clifton also lived in Newark and settled in Hazlet in 1965 with her husband Nick where they raised their family.  Joyce was a cancer survivor of 41 years. Most of all Joyce loved spending time with her family. She loved cooking her favorite foods  for her family and enjoyed holiday and Sunday dinners. Family gatherings were always special to her and will be memories cherished by her family forever.

Joyce was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Anne (Takach) Hromchak and her dear sister Barbara Kievet. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Nicholas "Nick" J. LoPomo. her loving children Nicholas C. LoPomo of Laurence Harbor, New Jersey, Canio N. LoPomo of Cresco, Pennsylvania, Anthony J. LoPomo and his wife Lisa of Brick, New Jersey, Joyce Anne LoPomo of Hazlet, New Jersey, Paula Anne LoPomo and her long time companion Rich Parson of Hazlet, New Jersey,  her cherished grandchildren George N. Hart and his wife Samantha, Angela M. LoPomo, Danielle N. Farr and husband Richie, Caitlin S. LoPomo, her great grandchildren Gianna Samean, Natalie Farr, Owen Farr, Noah Farr, Charlotte Rae Hart, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.     Joyce will be deeply  missed, but never forgotten.

A private family gathering will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St Benedict Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
