Josephine "Jo" (Grigoli) Pecyno

Josephine “Jo” Pecyno (nee Grigoli), 71, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2023 with her children by her side. She was born Giuseppa Grigoli on March 3, 1952, in Palermo, Sicily.  At the age of four along with her mother and siblings, they moved to Union Beach where her father had set roots awaiting their arrival.  Jo spent most of her adult life in the Keyport and Union Beach area. Later in life, she moved to Hazlet, where she remained.

Jo was a dedicated daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.  She was the life of every party, and her legendary laugh was her trademark.  All who knew Jo loved her.  She will be greatly missed.

Jo was predeceased by her beloved parents, Frank and Anna (nee Clemente), her loving husband Ron, and her sister Rosa.  She is survived by her devoted children, daughter Tara Donnelly and husband Ron (Hazlet) and son Jared Tombs and wife Mimi Foster-Tombs (Centerville, MD), her caring siblings Lina Mascolino (Lincroft), Gina Santa and husband Vito (Lincroft), Mamie McNally and husband Richie (Howell), Angelo Grigoli and wife Marsha (Lincroft), and Rita Zeiser and husband Artie (Tinton Falls), her cherished grandchildren Peter, Anna, Moss and Lorelei as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
