Josephine E. Gill

Josephine E. Gill, 91, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel.  She was born Josephine Friel on June 1, 1928 in Newark, New Jersey and lived most of her life in Holmdel.  Josephine was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

She was predeceased by her parents, John and Elizabeth Friel, her beloved husband, Edmund Gill, and her dear sons, Timothy and Patrick Gill.  Josephine is survived by her loving children, Deborah Bormida and her husband, John, of Browns Mills, New Jersey and John D. Gill of North Arlington, New Jersey, her daughter-in-law, Donna Gill, and her brother, John Friel and his wife, Georgeanna, along with four cherished grandchildren, seven adored great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.  Josephine will be sadly missed and never forgotten.

In respect of Josephine’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.  Josephine’s cremains will be laid to rest with her husband, Edmund, and her son, Timothy, at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  A memorial visitation will be offered at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730 at a later date and time to be announced in the future and a prayer service will be offered for Josephine during the memorial service.   For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
