Joseph Paul Savoia

Joseph Paul Savoia, 55, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away on February 11, 2024 at his present home in South Amboy, New Jersey. He was born  July 23, 1968 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He moved to Hazlet in 1976 where he grew up, got married, and raised his family. He most recently served as a chef at Monaghan House in South Amboy, New Jersey.

Joseph Paul was predeceased by his parents, Paul Joseph Savoia and Anna Scognamiglio Savoia.  He is survived by his loving children Stephanie Marie and Natalie Ann Savoia of Keyport, New Jersey, as well as the mother of his children Lisa Savoia. Joseph is also survived by his siblings Angela Marie Mondero and her husband Robert of Middlesex, New Jersey; Paul Joseph Savoia, Jr. and his husband Steven Koumoulis of Red Bank, New Jersey; along with a host of extended family and friends.  The memory of his Sunday family dinners will always bring comfort to all those at his table.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 3269 Highway/State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Thursday during the visitation.
