Joseph John Quigley, 71, of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on February 16, 2022 at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. He was born on May 16, 1951 in Manhattan, New York where he attended school and was raised. He married the love of his life Debra (Grote) Quigley on October 1, 1977 and started a family together. They settled in Hazlet, New Jersey in 1987 and in 1997 settled in Port Monmouth, New Jersey where he remained. He retired from Local 817 Teamsters Theatrical.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents Patrick Henry and Velma (Moretto) Quigley, his beloved wife Debra (Grote) Quigley (August 16, 2010) and his brother Edward Anthony Quigley. He is survived by his beloved daughters Colleen Gato and her husband Peter of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, Kelly Cifone of Nyack, New York, his cherished grandchildren John Gato, Ava Gato, and Jordyn Cifone, along with his loving siblings William Quigley and his wife Mary of Manchester, New Jersey, Richard Quigley and his wife Carol of Manhattan, New York, Sissy Pat Toomey and her husband Larry Gumb of Manhattan, New York along with many nieces, nephews extended family and friends. He will be surely missed, and never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, February 21, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00PM and Tuesday morning, February 22, 2022, from 8:30 to 9:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at St. Mary's Chapel, 26, Leonardville Road, Middletown, New Jersey 07748 at 10:00 AM.
