Joseph Lavis Obituary

Joseph Lavis, 82, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Anchor Care and Rehabilitation. Joseph was born on September 28, 1938 in Bayonne, New Jersey, where he grew up and lived for his entire lifetime. Within the last few years, Joseph settled in Hazlet, New Jersey. Before his retirement, Joseph was a postal worker for the United States Postal Service in Secaucus, New Jersey. He was also a proud United States Marine Corps. Veteran.

Joseph is survived by his daughters, Jaimie Hynes and her husband, Brian, of Holmdel, New Jersey, and Nancy Messina and her husband, Gregory, of Morganville, New Jersey, along with his dear siblings, Robert and Walter Lavis. Joseph will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
