Joseph Demone

Joseph Demone, 59, of Sayreville, New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy.  Joseph was born on June 8, 1960 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he grew up.   At age 19 he married his wife, Diane. A few year later, Joseph and Diane moved to Keyport and shortly after they settled in Sayreville, New Jersey to continue to raise their family.  Joseph worked as a mechanic for 40 plus years.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone in need and do whatever he could to fix your car troubles, regardless of your budget.  In his spare time, Joseph enjoyed betting on the horse races, gardening and was an avid poker player.  He had a love for dogs. Above all else, he adored his family and loved his grandchildren with all of his heart.

He was predeceased by his father, Anthony Demone, and his beloved wife, Diane (Freck) Demone.  Joseph is survived by his adoring mother, Jean (Sandullo) Demone, his loving children, Michele Gaffney and her husband, Daniel, Michael Demone and his long-time girlfriend, Anna Zalek, Nicole Demone and her fiance, Mike Fiorillo, and Joseph Demone, and his dear brother, Tony Demone.  Joseph is also survived by his cherished granddaughters, Briella, Natalia, and Ava and Ava's mother, Heather.  Joseph will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
