Joseph J. Bucci

Joseph Bucci, 67, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel.  Joseph was born on October 2, 1953, in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in Nutley.  Joseph and his wife, Annette, were married on August 4, 1974, and began their life together in Belleville, New Jersey.  Shortly after, they settled in Hazlet to raise their family.  Joseph worked as a Business Analyst for Ansell Health Care in Edison.  He was also heavily involved with Hazlet Township for many years as a volunteer with various aspects of Hazlet Town Hall and the community.  In his spare time, Joseph loved bowling and enjoyed playing a few rounds of golf.  Most of all, Joseph was an extremely kind, loving, and generous person.  His family and friends meant the world to him, and he would do anything for those he loved.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Frances (Cannova) Bucci, and his dear siblings, Barbara Callahan and James Bucci.  Joseph is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 47 years, Annette (Salvato) Bucci, his loving children, Nicole Bucci of Oceanside, New York, and Michael Joseph Bucci of Asbury Park, New Jersey, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family and friends.  Joseph will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday afternoon, August 7, 2021, from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at approximately 3:00 PM during Joseph’s visitation.  In respect of his wishes, Joseph will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
