Josefina M. Errante, 56, of Port Reading, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. Josefina was born on October 11, 1964 in Caracas, Venezuela, where she was raised. In 1998, she immigrated to the United States, starting her life in Newark, New Jersey. In 2006, she settled in Port Reading, New Jersey. Before leaving Venezuela, Josefina worked as a Special Education Teacher for 15 years. While living in New Jersey, she worked at the YMCA in Edison for their Pre-School. Most of all, Josefina was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and loved spending as much time with them as possible. Josefina will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her father, Giuseppe Errante. Josefina is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Jose Giraldez, her adoring mother, Reyna (Rodriguez) Errante, her loving children, Barbara Giraldez, Giuseppe Giraldez, and Isabel Giraldez, her three dear brothers, and her cherished grandchildren, Alexander, Raphael, Grace, and Valentina.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home (in spanish) at 6:00 PM. In respect of Josefina's wishes, she will be privately cremated. As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of 100 persons allowed in the funeral home at one time.
