John Matos

John Matos, 53, of Brick died at home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. John was born on Monday, April 3, 1969, in New York City, New York. John lived in New York City prior to moving to Bloomfield, New Jersey forty years ago and to Brick one year ago. John was a self-employed laborer in the construction industry for many years. Some of his favorite hobbies were fishing, crabbing, and cooking. He loved all dogs especially Pit Bulls.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

John was predeceased in 2018 by his loving mother, Elsie (Munoz) and a brother Angel Matos. He is survived by his caring father, Angel Luis Matos, his loving children, Deanna Matos, Johnathon Matos, Derrick Matos, Louis Matos, Sean Matos, Jessica Matos, Nicholas Matos and Christopher Matos, dear sisters Elsa Matos-Berardinelli and Diane Mendez and six cherished grandchildren.

In respect of John’s wishes her will be privately cremated.
