John R. Curcio, 94, of Keyport, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel. John was born on November 11, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in the Boro Park neighborhood. After marriage, John and his wife, Antoinette, started their life and family together in Brooklyn, New York. Recently, he moved from Long Island to Keyport. Before his retirement, he worked as a salesman for Haagen Dazs ice cream company for many years. He was also a proud United States Army Veteran, having proudly served our country during World War II. Most of all, John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many. He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
He was predeceased by his parents, Eugene and Victoria (Amendola) Curcio, his wife, Antoinette Curcio, and his son, John Curcio. John is survived by his loving daughters, Deborah Curcio of Hazlet, and Lorine Tantillo and her husband, Michael, of Hazlet, his caring daughter in law, Teresa Curcio and his cherished grandchildren, Michael Mandato, Daniel Curcio, John Curcio, Gabrielle Tantillo, Stephanie Tantillo, and Amanda Tantillo, along with many dear nieces and nephews.
In respect of John’s wishes, he will be privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at approximately 2:00 PM, followed by U.S. Army Military Honors.
