Joann L. (Augresani) Walsh

Joann L. Walsh, 62, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick.  She was born Joann L. Augresani on April 4, 1962, in Manhattan, New York, where she grew up.  On April 19, 1986, Joann and her beloved husband, Dennis, were married and started their life together in Hazlet, New Jersey, where they remained to raise their family.  Most of all, Joann was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Joann was predeceased by her father, Joseph Augresani.  She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 39 years, Dennis Walsh, her loving children, Briana N. Walsh and Joseph P. Walsh and his wife, Gianna, her cherished grandson, Rome Joseph Walsh, her adoring mother, Barbara (Rocco) Augresani, and her dear sister, Suzanne Katz and her husband, Mark.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday morning, March 3, 2025, at 11:15 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  In respect of Joann’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
