Joan Pepsin Obituary

Joan Pepsin, a beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 93 at Bayside Manor in Keansburg, New Jersey. Born on July 13, 1932, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania, Joan was the cherished daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Marcavage) Werwinski. Her life was a testament to the power of unwavering affection and the deep bonds of family.

Joan's early years were spent in the close-knit community of Simpson, Pennsylvania, where she developed the values of family and caring that would define her life. In 1965, Joan's journey took her to Keyport, New Jersey, and shortly thereafter, she settled in Middletown. It was here that she raised her family and became a beloved member of the community. In her later years, Joan made a final move to Keansburg.

The matriarch of her loving family, Joan was predeceased by her siblings Raymond Werwinski and his wife Kay, Carl Werwinski, and Louise Wigfall and her husband Robert. She is survived by her devoted son, Jeff Kluck, and his wife Holly; her adoring grandchildren, Brandy Hall and David Kluck and his wife Erica; her cherished great-grandchildren, Jordan Balthazar, Olivia Balthazar, Leah Kluck, and Christian Kluck; her sister-in-law, Mary Werwinski, and many loved nieces and nephews. Each of these individuals was touched by Joan's warmth and generosity, and they will carry her spirit forward in their lives.

Joan's role as a loving and dedicated mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother was the cornerstone of life. Her commitment to her family was unwavering, and she took great pride in their accomplishments and happiness. Joan's life was not marked by professional accolades or public recognition, but rather by the quiet, steadfast love she gave to her family, her friends, and the people in her life.

As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we celebrate the legacy she leaves behind—a legacy of love that will continue to inspire and guide us. Joan's memory will be cherished and honored by all who were touched by her gracious spirit.

In respect of Joan’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.  Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation celebrating Joan’s life on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
