Joan Ann Paduani, 85, of Hazlet, NJ passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday July 21, 2024. Joan was born on March 16, 1939 at Richmond Memorial Hospital in Staten Island. She grew up with her parents and brother in Tottenville, Staten Island where she also attended Tottenville High School. She met her husband, Vincent Peter Paduani whom she married on November 22, 1958 at Saint Stephen's Church in Staten Island, NY. They later moved to Hazlet, NJ in 1964, where they raised their family of three daughters. Joan was a kind-hearted person and home-maker who loved her family and friends, and a devout animal lover since she was a young girl. Throughout the years, they had many pets due to her endless love for animals, and she was notoriously known for her assortment of silly cat t-shirts. She enjoyed reading, coloring, solving puzzles, and watching hallmark movies. Joan’s favorite meal was spaghetti and meatballs, which she was known for making the best in town! Most of all she was a beloved wife, mother, friend and later on - grandmother & great-grandmother.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Edith (Wederman) Poeppel, and her beloved and devoted husband, Vincent Peter Paduani. Joan is survived by her loving daughters, Pamela Gambardella and her husband, Robert, of Loxahatchee, Florida, Cindy Flanagan and her husband, Timothy, of Hazlet, and Sandra Stabile of Atlantic Highlands, her dear brother, John Putnam and his wife, Marie, her cherished grandchildren, Anthony Gambardella, Nicholas Gambardella and his wife, Melissa, Bryan Flanagan, Dana Flanagan, Megan Flanagan, Vincent Stabile, and Gianna Stabile, and her treasured great grandchildren, Gianna, Anthony, Dominic, and Vannah.
