Joan Marie (Graziano) Bace

Joan Marie Bace, 74, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 29, 2026, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Born on August 5, 1951, in Newark, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Joseph William Graziano and Helen (Yuhas) Graziano. Joan spent a short time in Elizabeth, New Jersey, before settling in Rahway with her family, where she was raised and formed the strong values that guided her throughout her life.

On November 24, 1979, Joan married her beloved husband, Andrew F. Bace, and together they began their life and family in Hazlet, New Jersey. Their marriage was built on love, commitment, and shared devotion, and it remained a source of strength and happiness throughout the years. Together they created a home filled with love and cherished memories, and Joan took great pride in the family they built together.

Joan was a loving woman whose warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family were evident to all who knew her. Her life was centered on the people she loved, and she found great joy in being a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

For many years, Joan worked for the Middletown Board of Education, where she processed payroll with dedication and care. Joan retired in 2015 after a long and faithful career, leaving behind the respect and appreciation of those who worked alongside her.

She was predeceased by her devoted parents Helen (Yuhas) and Joseph William Graziano, and her loving step-mother, Arline Graziano. 

Joan is survived by her beloved husband, Andrew F. Bace; her adoring children, Andrew Bace, Lauren Bace, and Joanne Lupino and her husband Christopher; her dear sister, Donna Ferrante; and her cherished grandchildren, Sophia Lupino and Christopher Lupino. She will be deeply missed by each of them, as well as by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
