Jeanne Patricia (Byrne) Dischler

 Jeanne Patricia Dischler, 69, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Jean Patricia Byrne on November 16, 1953, in Jersey City, New Jersey.  Jeanne met and married the love of her life, James S. Dischler on October 23, 1971. They lived in Jersey City for many years before moving to Hazlet, New Jersey in 2003. She was a communicant of Saint Benedict Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel, New Jersey for many years.  Jeanne loved to spend time knitting and crocheting. She was an extremely avid reader. Most of all Jeanne was a devoted, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Jeanne is predeceased by her beloved parents, Augustine and Edna(Holland) Byrne, and her caring brother, Gary Byrne. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, James S. Dischler, her devoted children, Jacqueline Engroff and her husband Artie, James S. Dischler Jr. and his wife Patricia and Elizabeth Wybraniec and her husband Matt, her cherished grandchildren, Kathryn Dischler and her fiance Howard Hester, Kyle Engroff, Amelia Dischler, James T. Dischler, Molly Dischler, Isabel Dischler and Maisie Wybranierc as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4:30 to 8:30 PM  and on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey  07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered  at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Saint Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey  07733.
