Jane B Eng-Gengo

Jane B. Eng-Gengo, 71, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home with her loving husband at her side on Friday, March 17, 2023. She was born Jane B. Eng on April 25, 1951, in Brooklyn, New York, where she was raised and met her beloved husband, Stephen. On July 8, 1989, Jane and Stephen were married and began their life together in Staten Island, New York. Shortly after in 1989, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey. Before her retirement, Jane worked as a Researcher for Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation in Manhattan, New York. Most of all, Jane was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Henry Wu Eng and Toy You Chin and older brother, Pete H. Eng. Jane is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 33 years, Stephen W. Gengo, and her dear siblings, Walter Eng and his wife, Suet Han, Tom Eng and his wife, René, Milton Eng and his wife, Victoria, Margaret Eng-Wallace and her husband, Edward, and May Eng-Barrett and her husband, John, along with many cherished nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends. 

In respect of Jane’s wishes, she will be privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Monday, April 3rd . Visitation hours will be between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM and a Memorial Service will begin at 1:00 PM ending at 2:00 PM. Both visitation and service will be held at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
