Obituary
James Reed, fondly known as "Michael", 69, of Keansburg passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2023 at home. Michael was born on April 15, 1953 in Kearny, New Jersey. He grew up in Kearny, moved to Long Branch, New Jersey in 1980 and to Keansburg, New Jersey four years ago. Michael had a love for cars and especially loved working on cars. He was known to be charismatic with beautiful blue eyes. He was a devoted son, father, brother and grandfather. Michael will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
He was predeceased by his parents, James Howard and Mary Ann “Brennan” Reed. He was one of five children. He is survived by his loving children, Lissa Reed of Keyport, and Dyllan Reed of Keansburg, his adoring grandchildren, Joseph, Ryder and Dante, and his cherished fiancée, Sharon Hurst.
Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07735. In respect of James’ wishes, he will
