James M. DeMarco Sr, 80, of Hazlet, New Jersey passed away peacefully on February 17, 2024 at home surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on October 7,1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey and in 1984 met his wife, Isabella Becker. They married in March of 1984 and lived in Bayonne, New Jersey with their children. In 2004 they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey where they remained. Jimmy retired as a member of the Teamsters where he was a truck operated. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Most of all he was a loving husband, father poppy and friend to many.
Jimmy was predeceased by his parents James A. and Evelyn McCauley DeMarco and his sister Linda Reppa. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years (March 1984) Isabella (Becker) DeMarco, his loving children Kerith Boyle and her husband Charles of Hazlet, New Jersey, James M. DeMarco Jr, and his wife Joan of Bayonne, New Jersey, his cherished grandchildren Erynn Boyle, Samantha Boyle, Dakota DeMarco, Sierra DeMarco Amanda Boyle, Savannah DeMarco, Lillianna DeMarco and his dear nephew Frank Reppa. He will be greatly missed, never forgotten, and always remembered.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer Service will be offered at the Funeral Home at approximately 7:00 PM. In respect of Jimmy’s wishes he will be privately cremated. His cremains will then be entombed at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, New Jersey 08562.
