Jack Levy Obituary

Jack Levy, 90, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away at home on December 19, 2020.  Jack was born on June 12, 1930 in Manhattan, New York and spent his childhood in the lower eastside of Manhattan.  He and his family moved to California for a few years, before returning to New York.  Jack lived in various areas in Brooklyn, including Coney Island, where he met his beloved wife, Marilyn.  After marriage, Jack and Marilyn settled in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn to raise their family and 14 years ago, moved to Middletown.  Before his retirement, Jack worked as a Chef for many years in the restaurant business.

Jack was an extremely hardworking man and one of his top priorities was making sure his family was always taken care of.  Jack’s family described him as the life of the party.  He loved to have a good time with his family and friends, enjoyed a good conversation, and was always the first one to get up and dance.  Most of all, Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  He is now reunited with the love-of-his life and best friend, his beloved wife, Marilyn.

He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved wife, Marilyn (Friedman) Levy.  Jack is survived by his loving children, Sharon Levy and her lifelong partner, Gerri, of Middletown, Wayne Levy and his wife, JoAnn, of Leonardo, and Glen Levy and his wife, Marlene, of Oviedo, Florida, and his cherished grandchildren, Justin, Samantha, Brandon, Tyler, and Darren Levy.  Jack will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
