In Ho Kim, a cherished matriarch, passed away on November 9, 2025, in Palisades Park, New Jersey, at the age of 90. Born on April 28, 1935, in Seoul, South Korea, In
Ho was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother whose life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of family bonds.
In Ho with her husband and her children immigrated from Seoul to the bustling boroughs of New York. In 1973, she made a brave move to the Bronx, marking the beginning of a life
full of adventure and resilience. Her spirit of exploration and adaptability saw her and her family move to Ohio, Florida, and from 1979 to 2000 in Missouri before finally settling in Holmdel, New Jersey in 2000.
After her husband's passing, in 2023, In Ho moved to Palisades Park with her daughter and son-in-law, where she spent her final years surrounded by the community and the people she loved. Those who knew In Ho will remember her as the embodiment of love. Her warmth, her gentle smile, and her nurturing presence made her a beloved figure in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. In Ho's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of care, compassion, and unwavering support for her family and friends.
Throughout her life, In Ho was a backbone and a source of unconditional love for her family.
She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Dr. Yang Ho Kim, her father Yong Shik Shin, her mother Kay Ae Jang, and her brother Joon Ho Shin. Her legacy
lives on through her loving daughter, Anne Ahne, and son-in-law Samuel; her son, David Kim; and her adoring grandchildren, Anson Ahne and Katie (Kim), Madison, Molly (Hatfield), and Morgan Kim, Daniel, and Victoria Kim.
In Ho Kim's journey on this earth may have come to a close, but her spirit continues to inspire and guide us. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever be cherished
and celebrated by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to cross paths with her. As we bid farewell to In Ho, we take comfort in the countless memories she gifted us,
and the knowledge that her love will continue to be a guiding light in our lives.
