Hipolito Rosado Obituary

Hipolito Rosado, a man of kindness, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at his home in Eatontown, New Jersey. Born on August 10, 1947, in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Hipolito's journey through life was marked by his generous spirit and loving nature.

Hipolito's enjoyed his early years in Puerto Rico.  In 1956 he began a journey that led him to Long Branch , New Jersey and later in life he moved to Eatontown, New Jersey, where he remained. Hipolito was a respected figure both at work and within his community. He spent many years as a Labor Foreman for Stavola Asphalt Company in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, where his hard work and commitment set a standard for excellence. He was a proud member of the Heavy and General Laborers Fund, Local 472 and Local 172.

Predeceased by his parents, Hipolito and Catalina (Montalvo) Rosado, and his caring siblings, Herbie and Irma Rosado, Hipolito's legacy is carried forward by his loving family. He was a devoted father to Carmen Rosado and Hippolito “Snoopy” Rosado, he enjoyed many years with his partner, Carmen Feliciano, and his role as a grandfather to Courtney, Erika, Jordan, Chloe, and Demetri was filled with moments of joy and laughter. His great-grandchildren, Jahki, Jordan Jr., Catalina, and Richard Jr., will grow up hearing tales of their great-grandfather's warmth and generosity.

An avid softball player in his younger years, Hipolito's competitive spirit and camaraderie shone through in every game he played for the Spanish Fraternity League. His love for the outdoors was evident in his daily walks in the park.  Hipolito could often be found sharing stories with friends and strangers alike. However, it was the time spent with his family that Hipolito treasured above all else.

Those who knew Hipolito will remember him as being full of kindness, generosity, and love. He was a devoted son, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and partner.  He will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.
