Henry "Hank" Jaworski Obituary

Henry “Hank” Jaworski Jr., a loving, generous, and funny man, passed away on June 13, 2026, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, at the age of 85.

Born on May 10, 1941, in Bayonne, New Jersey, he was the beloved son of the late Henry Sr. and Catherine (Wall) Jaworski. Hank grew up in Bayonne, where he met the love of his life, Carol. Their bond grew into a lifelong partnership, and they were married on August 5, 1967. Together, they began their married life in Jersey City, New Jersey, and in 1972 they made their home in Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey, where they remained and built a life filled with love, family, and lasting memories.

Hank was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy came from the people he loved. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Carol (Snyder) Jaworski, his adoring daughter, Nicole Wagner of Howell, New Jersey, and his cherished grandson, Michael Wagner of Howell, New Jersey. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in being present for the moments that mattered most. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his warm heart, and the kindness he showed so freely to those around him.

A hardworking and dependable man, Hank spent his career diligently working as a phone and computer installer. He served with dedication for various companies throughout the years, with the longest portion of his career spent at Lucent Technologies in Holmdel, New Jersey. He approached his work with pride and a strong sense of responsibility, earning the respect of coworkers and all who knew him professionally. His skill, patience, and willingness to help others led many to affectionately know him as Mr. “Fix-it,” a title he carried with pride and good humor.

Hank was a man of simple pleasures and enduring interests. He enjoyed fishing, boating, shooting pool, and spending time on the water, where he found peace and happiness. Whether he was out enjoying the day or lending a hand to someone in need, he brought a calm and reassuring spirit to every setting. His sense of humor and easygoing nature made him a joy to be around, and his presence could brighten any room.

A Christian by faith, Hank lived his life with values rooted in love, devotion, and integrity. Hank and Carol are communicants of Saint Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Laurence Harbour, New Jersey.  He believed in caring for others, working hard, and appreciating the blessings of family and friendship. Those who knew him will remember a man who was not only dependable and capable, but also deeply compassionate and full of life.

Though his passing leaves a deep void, Hank’s memory will remain a source of comfort and strength to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed, always loved and never forgotten.
