Henderick C. Rossi

Henderick C. Rossi, fondly known as 'Henry', 86, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Henry was born on June 13, 1934 in Keyport, New Jersey and resided there until 1962 when he moved to Hazlet.  Henry retired from JCP&L as an electrician in the Sayreville and Werner Generating Stations.  He was a Rec. Secretary and Shop Steward for Local Union 1314, IBEW.  He was a Past Grand Knight, former District Deputy, and a Past Faithful Navigator for St. Joseph's Knights of Columbus Council 3402 in Keyport.  Henry was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran during the occupation in Germany.  He was a Past Commander, Quartermaster and Honor Guard member for VFW Post 4699 Sayreville and also a member of the American Legion Post 23 in Keyport.  Henry was also a Cubmaster, Pack 139 in Hazlet and a Scoutmaster for Troop 80 in Keyport.  He was a member of the Cullen Seniors of Hazlet and active in delivering meals to seniors in Keyport.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Henrietta (Amede) Rossi, his brother, Antonio Rossi, and his beloved wife, Lucy Rossi.  Henry is survived by his loving children, James Rossi and his wife, Kathleen, of Tuckerton, David Rossi and his wife, Catherine, of England, and Doreen Stocker and her husband, Robert Jr., of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, his brother, Joseph Rossi Jr., his cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Vincent, and Mitchell Rossi, DeAnna Stocker, Caleb and Luke Rossi, and Abigail and Amelia Stocker, and his adored great granddaughter, Ryan Rossi.  Henry will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning, January 21, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Entombment will follow Thursday morning's visitation at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Henry to the VFW Post 4699, Jernee Mill Road, Sayreville, New Jersey 08872, would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
