Hamida Abdool

Hamida Abdool, 90, of Lincroft, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 3, 2020.  Hamida was born on September 8, 1929 in Trinidad and Tobago, where she grew up.  In 1987, Hamida immigrated to the United States and settled in Brooklyn, New York.  Recently in 2018, she moved to Lincroft, New Jersey.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Hamid Abdool, her siblings, Sherrif Mohammed, Majorie Seemungal, and Lazena Phillip, and her son-in-law, Mokhash Teekasingh.  Hamida is survived by her loving children, Ken Abdool of Toronto, Canada, Nisa "Claire" Abdool of Brooklyn, New York, Rick Abdool of Toronto, Canada, Alisha "Cherry" Abdool of Toronto, Canada, Sharon "Debbie" Teekasingh of Staten Island, New York, Cliff Abdool of Rockaway, New Jersey, Sherina Larrier and her husband, Bennie, of Lincroft, New Jersey, Ronnie Abdool of Staten Island, New York, and Robbie Abdool of Boston, Massachusetts.  She is also survived by her dear siblings, Haniph Mohammed and Amiran Mohabir, and her cherished grandchildren, Janelle Welsh, Chenyere Welsh, Craig Teekasingh, Carissa Teekasingh, Keisha Anthonipillai, Julia Abdool, Cherese Teekasingh, Jason Abdool, Abigayle Larrier, Arabella Larrier, and Izabela Lasocka, along with her adored great grandchildren, Juliette Teekasingh, Sophia Anthonipillai and Kyah Aliya O'Brien.  Hamida will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
