Gloria Sinacore, a person of love and joy to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at the age of 92 at Sunrise, in Marlboro, NJ. Born on June 2, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY, Gloria's life was marked by her kindness and her deep devotion to her family.
Gloria was the daughter of the late Gennaro and Ida (Lamberti) DiBlasio. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Sinacore, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and love. Her sister, Lydia Kronoski, also preceded her in death. Gloria's legacy continues through her loving children, Donna Talamo and her husband Sal, of Matawan, New Jersey, Elena Turano and her husband Paul of Keyport, New Jersey, and her brother, Jerry DiBlasio of Florida.
Her joy was multiplied as she became the adored grandmother to Jessica Perez and her partner Kevin McCloud, Michael Talamo and his wife Stephani, and Kristen Goff and her husband Nick. Gloria's heart grew even more with the arrival of her great-grandchildren, Adriana Talamo and Ariana McCloud, whom she truly treasured and loved. Gloria also leaves behind her beloved grand dogs Stella Talamo, Buddy and Mila Goff, whom she loved spending time with.
Gloria's early years were spent in Brooklyn, NY, before she moved to Shady Oaks, Red Bank, New Jersey in 2011, later moving to Sunrise of Lincroft, New Jersey in 2014, and then to Sunrise of Marlboro, New Jersey in 2019. Her career as a dedicated secretary at Credit Suisse in New York City spanned many years, where she was known for her professionalism, warmth, and reliability.
A devout Christian, Gloria lived her faith through her actions, always putting others before herself and offering support and comfort to those in need. Her interests were as varied as they were passionate. An avid Yankees fan, she could often be found cheering on her favorite team, her enthusiasm never waning even in their off seasons. Gloria loved hosting family gatherings where she served her best dishes: potato pie, Sunday sauce with her famous meatballs, and candied yams-recipes that will be passed down to future generations. Gloria's love for animals was evident to all who knew her. Gloria's hobbies included playing cards and bingo, activities that allowed her to engage with friends and family in the memorable gatherings she so loved. Singing was another joy in her life, and her voice could lift the spirits of everyone around her. She also found pleasure in quieter moments, working on puzzle books.
Above all, Gloria's love for her family and friends was the cornerstone of her life. The time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was precious to her, and she cherished every moment. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed, but the warmth of her love will continue to shine brightly, guiding her family through the years to come.
