Glenn Flood

Glenn Flood, 66, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.  Glenn was born on November 30, 1954 in Rahway, New Jersey and grew up in Watchung.  On September 30, 1981, Glenn and his wife Cynthia were married and began their lives together in California.  While living in California, Glenn often traveled for work, bringing Cynthia along with him to his various destinations. In 1990, Glenn and Cynthia returned to New Jersey, settling in Union Beach, New Jersey, where they raised their family.  While living in New Jersey with his family, Glenn worked for Local Union #27 in Farmingdale as a sheet metal worker for many years.

In his spare time, Glenn enjoyed working out/going to the gym, and taking trips out on the water for deep sea fishing.  Glenn was a very prideful, hardworking man, who’s devotion to his family knew no bounds.  He especially loved spending time with his 13 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his dad, Paul Flood, his brothers, Bruce and Wayne Flood, and his brother-in-law, David Goodling.  Glenn is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 39 years, Cynthia (Toikka) Flood, his adoring mother, Veronica (Kadaraitis) Flood, his loving children, Jade Monzo and her husband, Brian, of Hazlet, Jordan Kate Malewich and her husband, Keith, of West Carthage, New York, Jackee Racioppo and her husband, Nick, of Colts Neck, and Glenn Flood and his wife, Erica, of Stockton, New Jersey, his dear sister, Kathleen Goodling, and his cherished grandchildren, Jack, Harmony, Colton, Scarlett, Charlie, Vivien, Lorelai, Brooks, Gia, Ava, Nicky, Aurora, and Juliet.  Glenn also leaves behind many treasured nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, January 3, 2020 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM and Monday morning, January 4, 2020 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday morning, January 4, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  In respect of Glenn’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
