Glenda H. Grant

Glenda H. Grant, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 2, 2020, at Anchor Care & Rehabilitation Center, Hazlet, New Jersey.  Glenda was born on August 26, 1939 in Guyana. In 1995, she came to the United States and resided in Brooklyn, New York. In 2006, she moved to Newark, New Jersey and in 2020, she moved to Somerset, New Jersey where she remained. Glenda was a retired Home Health Aide for CABS Home Healthcare, Brooklyn, New York.

Glenda was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Sarah (Burnett) Britton, and her son, Shawyn Grant. She is survived by her loving children, Maxine Rydzynski and her husband, John of Virginia, Dexter Britton-Grant and his wife, Carol, Rodwyn Grant and his wife, Tamica of Brooklyn, New York, her dear siblings, Vincent Britton, Eslyn Samuels, and Pamela Skeete, her cherished grandchildren, Jonathan James, Omar Britton-Grant, Jordan Grant, Desmond Grant, Joshua Grant, Jennae Grant and her treasured great-grandson, Sevyn Britton-Grant. Glenda will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday morning, December 14, 2020 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.  Interment will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 500 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, New Jersey 08901.  For information, directions or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
