George T Kohutich

George T. Kohutich, 79, of Holmdel, New Jersey passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.  George was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on February 26, 1945, to his parents, George and Mary (Adamec) Kohutich. George met the love of his life, Lorraine, when they were teenagers and they married in 1968. After they wed, they moved to Howell, New Jersey before settling in Holmdel.  He was a dedicated parishioner at Church of Saint Catharine in Holmdel. George enjoyed his career as a draftsman at Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, and eventually Middletown, for many years, from which he retired in the 1990s. Outside of work, George enjoyed cooking, fishing, and auto mechanics.  He was also an avid photographer and wood worker (and jokester!). 

George is predeceased by his beloved parents, George and Mary (Adamec) Kohutich. He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Lorraine A. (Morin) Kohutich, his devoted daughter, Lisa Mangione and her husband Anthony of Somerset, New Jersey and his brothers, Michael Kohutich of Avenel, New Jersey and Thomas Kohutich of Morganville, New Jersey.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:15 AM on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Church of Saint Catharine, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, New Jersey   07733. In respect of George’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.
