George D. Buhler, 84, of Colts Neck, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. George was born on June 15, 1941, in Jersey City, New Jersey and grew up in Weehawken. After marriage, he settled in Union Beach to raise this family, where he remained until moving to Colts Neck in 1989.where he was known for his Big parties and amazing Christmas displays. George worked as a Union Beach Police Officer. He served proudly in the United States Army. George was extremely proud of his military career and many of his accomplishments, during his time of service. He spoke five languages, which he used daily with the military as a translator with the signal group. Later in life, George started a trucking and warehousing company from which he retired, Jutta Universal Systems in Jackson, New Jersey. He told the best jokes with spot on impersonations, and was the life of the party, but most of all, he was a husband, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and good friend to many. He will be greatly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Lena (Gemperle) Buhler, his siblings, Elena and Emilie, his adoring Surviving Sisters: Sharon Lee Madeline, and his baby Sister Estelle and her husband Al Estelle donated her Kidney so her brother could live 9 more wonderful years on this earth with all of us. He cherished all of his Grandchildren, Niece’s and Nephew’s , George is survived by his wife, Ada Marsiglio, and his Children, Chrystal and her husband, Jerome, George and his wife Robin, Lisa and her husband Ron., All of his Stepchildren, Bruce, Billy, Sharon, Beverly and her husband David, and Linda. George also leaves behind the faithful Mother of his Children, Jutta , his cherished Grandchildren, Jimmy and his wife Elicia, Christopher, Jesse, Christopher James, Victoria Rose, Matthew, Hope, Jenna, Kimberly, Richard, Philip, Gina, Anthony, Ryan, Rachel, Breana, Jesse, Pira, Bryan, David, and , his nephews, David and his wife Megan Matthew and his wife Tammy, and many treasured great grandchildren. He loved each and everyone of them without question.
Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Family and friends are invited to attend a church service on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Tower Hill Church, 255 Harding Road, Red Bank, New Jersey 07701. Interment will follow at approximately 12:45 PM at Crest Haven Memorial Park, 750 Passaic Avenue, Clifton, New Jersey, where he will be laid to rest with his parents and grandparents whom he loved dearly.
