George Angelinovich, 64, of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Hazlet, passed away on January 19, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. George was born in "Da Bronx" and moved to Hazlet, New Jersey in 1957, where he lived for the majority of his life before moving to Delaware 10 years ago. In 1972, George volunteered for military service and joined the Navy. He has always been proud that he served his country. George enjoyed his career as a chauffeur and had many amusing stories to entertain his family and friends. George was predeceased by his parents, George J. and Pauline (Sestito) Angelinovich and his sister, Diane DiMella. George is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate, Patricia Galvin and his loving siblings, Judy Pellettieri and her husband Michael. of Hazlet, New Jersey, Louise Angelinovich of Hazlet, New Jersey, Elise Hotchkiss and her husband David of Aberdeen, New Jersey, Michael Angelinovich of Red Bank, New Jersey, Paula Hayes and her husband Patrick of Hazlet, New Jersey and Annette Bush of Leesburg, Florida. George is also survived by his stepsons, Louis Franzetti and his wife Amie, and Paul Franzetti. He also leaves behind 6 cherished grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. George will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning, January 28, 2020 from 8:30 to 9:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday morning, January 28, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733. George will be interred at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, George requested donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
