Fred H Jordt

Fred H. Jordt, 95, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Bayshore Medical Center, Holmdel, New Jersey.  Fred was born on January 3, 1930, in Hoboken, New Jersey where he grew up.  He met and later married the love of his life, Grete Sunkimat on September 28th, 1957. In 1963 they moved to Hazlet, New Jersey where they remained to raise their family.  Fred retired from AT&T/Bell Labs, New York where he worked as a Telephone Installer.  He was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandfather. 

He is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Louise (Rahmann) Jordt, his beloved wife of 67 years, Grete (Sunkimat) Jordt, his adoring daughter, Irene Colunga, and his sister, Dorothy Jordt.  He is survived by his loving children, Frances DeWysockie and her husband William of Fort Worth, Texas, Heidi Bizzaro of Monroe Township, New Jersey and Fred H. Jordt and his partner, Suzette Kerley of Brick, New Jersey.  He is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Karen DeWysockie, Louis Bizzarro and his fiancé Jacinda, Sarah Bizzarro and her fiancé Dan and Chris Bizzarro.
