Frank Sisto Obituary

Frank J. Sisto, 76, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on August 29, 2026. He was born on April 6, 1950, in Newark, New Jersey, and lived a life marked by devotion to his family, his work, and the many people who were fortunate enough to know him.

Frank was the beloved son of the late Frank J. and Margaret (Yannece) Sisto Sr. In 1959, he moved to Middletown, where he spent most of his younger years, building the foundation of the steady, kind, and loving man he would become. He later settled in Keyport, where he made his home and remained a familiar and respected presence in the community.

Frank was known above all as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, godfather, and relative, and he carried himself with warmth, loyalty, and quiet strength. His family was the center of his world, and he took great pride in the relationships he nurtured throughout his life.

Frank worked for International Flavors and Fragrances for 35 years, where he was valued for his dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic. His long career reflected the same commitment and consistency that he brought to every part of his life. He was respected by those who worked alongside him and remembered for the professionalism and integrity he displayed each day.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank J. and Margaret (Yannece) Sisto Sr.; his brother-in-law, Michael Tronolone; his brother-in-law, Dr. George Batri; and his mother-in-law, Patricia Anitore. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara (Anitore) Sisto; his son, Gregory M. Sisto, and his wife, Kelli; his granddaughter, Sophia Kate; his sister, Sandra Fagan, and her husband, Jimmy; his brother, Gary Sisto; his sisters-in-law, Karen Tronolone, Diane Batri, and Suzanne D'Amadeo and her husband, Frank; and his brother-in-law, Edward Anitore and his wife, Stephanie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory and the love he shared with them.

Those who knew Frank will remember his loving nature, his steady presence, and the genuine care he showed to others. He had a way of making people feel valued and appreciated, and his kindness left a lasting impression on family and friends alike. His life was a testament to the importance of love, family, and hard work.

Frank will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the many lives he touched throughout his years.
