Frank J. Messina

Frank J. Messina, 77, formerly of Staten Island, New York, presently of Keansburg, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Frank was born on August 31, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in the Sheepshead Bay area.  Later in life, he moved to Staten Island, New York where he lived for many years.  He recently moved to Keansburg, New Jersey to be closer to his family.  Before retirement, Frank worked as a self-contracted truck driver.  He was also a proud United States Veteran.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mary Messina, his brother, Joseph Messina and his daughter, Debbie Messina.  Frank is survived by his loving son, Frank Messina and his wife, Danielle, of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, his dear siblings, Anthony Messina and Mary Grace Carey, his cherished grandson, Robert Fardella and his adored great granddaughter, Tamara Fardella.  Frank will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, June 24, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours.  In respect of Frank's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
