Frank Richard Currier Sr., 82, of Keyport, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills, New Jersey on November 26, 2022. Frank was born on May 16, 1940 in South Amboy, New Jersey and lived in Keyport his entire life. He was the proprietor FR Currier Building and Contracting in Keyport, New Jersey. Frank served his country honorably in the United States Coast Guard. Frank was member (30 plus years) of the Keyport and Holmdel Kiwanis Clubs. Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Verdie and Elizabeth Mordecai Currier, his wife and mother of his children Carole M. Vena Currier and his loving daughter Elizabeth Sweeney. Frank is survived by his loving children, Tammy Frick, of Keyport, New Jersey, Tracy Mallon and her husband John of Keyport, New Jersey, Frank Richard Currier Jr., and his wife Lisa of Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey, his son in law James Sweeney, his partner June E. Atkins, his brother Robert Currier of Pennsylvania and his cherished grandchildren Thomas – Jay Frick, James Sweeney Jr., Zachary Frick, Travis Sweeney, Ashley Mallon, John Mallon, Devin Sweeney, Brittney Mallon, Hanniah Currier, Mackensie Currier, Reagan Currier along with many nieces nephews, extended family and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, December 2, 2022, from 4:00 to 9:00 PM and on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc, 3269 State Route/Highway 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Service will be offered at 10:30 AM on Saturday, at the funeral home offered by Reverend Matt Thiringer of Gethsemane Church of Keyport. Interment will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Route/Highway 35, in Hazlet New Jersey 07730.
