Frances "Francisca" Stone

Frances Stone, “also known as Francisca”, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at her residence in Hazlet, New Jersey.  She was born Francisca Cortes on September 16, 1928 in Puerto Rico. In 1950, she migrated to the United States and resided in Brooklyn, New York until 2018. She then moved to Hazlet, New Jersey where she remained.  Frances was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Maria and Ziolo Cortes, and her beloved husband, James Stone. Frances is survived by her dear and loving children, Dennis James Stone of Hazlet, New Jersey, James Robert Stone of Long Island, New York, and Thomas C. Stone and his wife, Luckana of Middletown, New Jersey, and her 7 cherished grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Prayer Service will be offered on Tuesday morning, June 29, 2021 at 9:45 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery, 2030 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York 11735.
