Frances Byles, 90, of Winter Garden, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Superior Assisted Living in Clermont, Florida. She was born Frances Huber on April 7, 1933, in Manhattan, New York, where she grew up. After marriage, Frances and her husband, Newell, settled in the Woodside section of Queens, New York, where they raised their family. In 1992, they relocated to Union Beach, where she remained until moving to Winter Garden, Florida in 2022. Before her retirement, Frances worked for Kleid Company in Manhattan. Most of all, Frances was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Fannie (Rosner) Huber, her beloved husband, Newell K. Byles, and her dear sister, Helen Plank and her husband, Edward. Frances is survived by her loving children, Robert K. Byles and his wife, Diane, of Winter Garden, Florida, and Nancy Byles, her cherished grandchildren, Robert Byles Jr. and his wife, Alisha, Christopher Byles and his fiancée, Rosemarie Behan, and Kenneth Byles, her treasured great grandchildren, Seth, Jack, Mya, Jude, Maxwell, Christopher and Francesca, and her nephew, Michael Plank.
Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of Frances’ wishes, she will be privately cremated and laid to rest with her beloved husband, Newell, at Holmdel Cemetery in Holmdel, New Jersey.
