Floriana Garcia Martinez

Floriana Garcia Martinez, 45, of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, New Jersey. She was born on May 5, 1981, in Oaxaca, Mexico, and lived a life marked by love, devotion, and quiet strength.

Floriana grew up in Mexico, where she learned the values of family, faith, and hard work that would guide her throughout her life. At the age of 18, she married her beloved husband, Juan Bruno, and together they began a new chapter in the United States, settling in New Jersey. She was a resident of Matawan at the time of her passing and remained deeply connected to the home and family she built with care and dedication.

She was a devoted Catholic whose faith was an important part of her life. Floriana was known by all who loved her as a woman who was loving, generous, and selfless. She had a gentle spirit and a heart that always seemed to place others before herself. Her kindness was evident in the way she cared for her family, her home, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Floriana especially loved cooking, and she found joy in preparing meals that brought her family together. She also enjoyed gardening in all its forms, with a special love for growing fruits and vegetables. She took great pride in nurturing life from the soil, and her garden reflected the same patience and tenderness she showed in every part of her life. Her hands were always busy caring for others, and her heart was always centered on her children and family.

Above all else, Floriana’s children were her world and her top priority. She was an extremely caring mother who always placed her children’s needs above her own. Her love for them was unwavering, and she devoted herself fully to their well-being, happiness, and future. The bond she shared with her children was one of deep affection and constant sacrifice, and it will remain a lasting source of comfort and remembrance.

She is survived by her adoring parents, Roberto Garcia and Dominga Martinez Herrera; her beloved husband, Juan Bruno; her loving children, Brende Bruno, Heder Bruno and his wife Sinai, and Emily Bruno; her five cherished brothers; and her two dear sisters. Though she will be deeply missed, the legacy of her kindness, faith, and selfless love will endure always.
