Florence E Kinsella

Our precious mother, Florence E. Kinsella (Ammidown), of Atlantic Highlands, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 11th, 2025, at the age of 94.   Flo  (Flossie), was two months away from her 95th birthday. She passed peacefully at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, New Jersey. Flo was born in Boston, Massachusetts on June 6th, 1930.

Flo was the heart of our family.  She was a child of the Great Depression and a teen during World War II, while growing up in Boston. She was married to the love of her life, Joe, (who preceded her in death) for 59 years.  She experienced a full life, enjoying life in Boston, Baltimore, New Orleans and Bristol, New Hampshire before settling down in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.

Flo will be sorely missed, forever loved and never forgotten by her entire family, including many nieces and nephews all around the country.  Her legacy is one of unending love for her family. She was always ready with a kind word and a good story.

She is survived by her devoted children, Donna McShane and her husband Jim, of Rumson, New Jersey, Joe Kinsella of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, Kevin Kinsella and his wife Mary, of Ft. Meyers, Florida, and Laurie Jo Kinsella and Tommy Stack of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, her caring grandchildren, Jack, Scott, Kate, Elibet, Katie, Joanna and Sean and a  cherished great grandmother of eleven and great great grandmother of three.
