Florence (Zysk) Gregory

Florence Gregory, 89, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Florence Zysk on August 24, 1931 in Old Forge, Pennsylvania.  After marriage, Florence and her husband, Robert, settled in Staten Island, New York, to raise their family.  She was presently of Keyport, New Jersey.  Before her retirement, Florence worked for First Investor Corporation in Manhattan, New York as an Administrative Assistant for many years.  Most of all, Florence was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Felix and Sophie Zysk, her beloved husband, Robert Gregory, and her dear siblings, Regina Szmyd, Edward Zisk, and Lydia Baehr.  Florence is survived by her loving children, Barbara Bonalski and her significant other, David Philippi, of Little Egg Harbor, Joan Manfre of Nutley, Geralynn Stager and her husband, Kevin, of Milford, Pennsylvania, Robert Gregory and his wife, Barbara, of Colonia, Andrew Gregory and his wife, Katie, of Hazlet, and Nancy Bonforti and her husband, Larry, of Staten Island, New York.  Florence also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Richard Manfre, Emily Turner and her husband, Ryan, Melissa Stager, Michael McKinney and his wife, Maddy, Sarah Gregory, Todd Stager, and James Gregory, along with her adored great grandchildren, Carmine Manfre and Dominick Manfre.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning, June 16, 2021 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday morning, June 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10309.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Florence to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
