Filomena Danella, 84, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home on Thursday evening, May 27, 2021. She was born Filomena Salvatore on October 26, 1936, in Atella, Italy where she grew up. In 1970, she migrated to the United States and settled in Jersey City, New Jersey. In 1987, she moved to Palm Bay, Florida. In 1991, she returned to Carteret, New Jersey and she also resided in Leonia, New Jersey. In 2000, she moved to Middletown New Jersey where she remained. Filomena was a retired seamstress. Filomena was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother who was devoted to her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Carmela (Sabido) and Gerardo Salvatore, her beloved husband, Angelo Danella, her daughter, Emanuela Guaglianone, and her siblings, Maria Belluscio, and Antoinette Carauana, and her son-in-law, James Kenny. Filomena is survived by her loving children, Michael Danella, Gerardo Danella and his wife, Kathi, Carmelina Kenny, and her son-in-law, Ulisse Guaglianone, her siblings, Josephine Garcia, Anita Salerno, and Giacomo Salvatore, her cherished grandchildren, Caterina Kusmick, Christina Danella, Maria Cupo, Matthew, Nicole and Eric Danella, Gabriella Guaglianone, Jacqueline, Jessica and James Kenny, Jr. Filomena is also survived by her 9 treasured great-grandchildren. Filomena will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
