Estelle Pipon, a person of kindness and love, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, at the age of 87 at Anchor Care and Rehabilitation Center, Hazlet, NJ. Born on May 11, 1938, in Newark, NJ, Estelle was a woman whose life was characterized by her thoughtful nature and her devotion to her family and friends.
Although born in Newark, Estelle moved to Kearny, NJ, where she spent many cherished years before finally settling in Keansburg, NJ. It was in Keansburg that Estelle's presence became a staple in the lives of those around her, particularly at Granville Towers, where her laughter and camaraderie were the highlights of many gatherings. It was in the lounge area, where she and her friends enjoyed seeing the results of their "Scratch Offs" and the simple pleasure of each other's company. Estelle also had a fondness for playing Bingo. Her last couple of years at Anchor Care were filled with love and laughter. As much as she loved her caretakers, they loved her! She enjoyed the times they spent together doing her hair and makeup.
A woman of great heart, Estelle was predeceased by her beloved parents, John and Mable (Sulling) Scally, her loving husband, Daniel Pipon, her caring siblings, William Scally, John Scally, and Ethel Murphy, and a nephew, Todd Scully. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her devoted brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Joanne Scully. Estelle's role as an aunt was one she enjoyed, leaving an impact on the lives of her nieces and nephews, Troy Scally, Cindy Flenrmo, Tracey LaRusso, Thomas Murphy, and Timothy Blune, as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews.
Estelle's legacy is one of warmth and generosity, traits that will continue to inspire those she has left behind. As we bid farewell to Estelle Pipon, we reflect on a life well-lived, a journey marked by compassion and grace. Estelle's memory will be treasured, her stories retold, and her kindness emulated by generations to come. Rest in peace, dear Estelle, knowing that your life was a gift to us all, and your memory will be held in the highest regard. In respect of Estelle’s wishes, she will be privately cremated.
