Emry Nemcik, 98, of Cliffwood, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020. Emry was born on September 17, 1921 in Grassflat, Pennsylvania, where he grew up. In 1952, he and his wife, Mary, moved to Cliffwood, New Jersey to raise his family. Before retirement, Emry was the proprietor of the Exxon gas station in Parlin, New Jersey for many years. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna (Palus) Nemcik, and his beloved wife, Mary (Lesko) Nemcik. Emry is survived by his loving daughters, MaryAnn Lemanski of Keyport and Joanne Erven and her husband, Robert, of Aberdeen, his dear sister, Agnes Paduch, his cherished grandchildren, Thomas Lemanski, Debra Grinvalsky, Jessica Grzeskowiak and Stephanie Hensley. He also leaves behind his adored great grandchildren, Edward Grinvalsky, Kaitlyn Grinvalsky, Alexa Lemanski, Taylor Lemanski and Kaley Grzeskowiak. Emry will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
