Emanuel Bonilla

Emanuel Bonilla, 83, of Staten Island, New York, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Richmond University Hospital in Staten Island, New York.  He was born Jose Emanuel Bonilla on April 9, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, where he grew up. In 1965 as a young adult, Emanuel moved to Middletown, New York, where he lived until moving to Staten Island in 1990.  Emanuel was a proud United States Air Force Veteran. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Jose and Antoinette (Auditore) Bonilla and his cherished aunts, Grace Capolarello, Connie Cocchi and Angelina Arena.  Emanuel is survived by many adoring cousins, extended family members and friends.  He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Emanuel's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, December 3, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Pity Church, 1616 Richmond Avenue, Staten Island, New York 10314.  Interment of Emanuel's cremains will follow at Silver Mount Cemetery in Staten Island.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
