It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Piscopo Albanese, who departed this life on May 24, 2026, at the age of 87.
Nothing brought Elizabeth greater joy than spending time with her family. She treasured every moment shared with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. One of her greatest blessings was having the opportunity to meet and create memories with her great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly and spoke of with immense pride.
An avid reader, Elizabeth could often be found with a good book in hand. She also enjoyed traveling and treasured the experiences, places, and adventures she shared with family and friends throughout her life.
Elizabeth will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the countless ways she touched the lives of those around her. Her love, wisdom, and family traditions will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
Elizabeth will also be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor. Her quick wit, warm smile, and her ability to make others laugh brought comfort and joy to family and friends throughout her life.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will continue through her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Elizabeth was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family, always placing their happiness and well-being above all else. Her kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering love created a foundation that will continue to guide and inspire generations to come.
Elizabeth is predeceased by her parents, Augustus and Elizabeth (Picco) Dunphy, her two husbands, Ralph Piscopo and Michael Albanese and her brothers, Edmund and his wife Florence Dunphy and Donald Dunphy . She survives by her loving children, Gary Piscopo and his wife Lucille, Tracy O’Neill and her husband Thomas, Gerard Piscopo and his wife Donna and Robin Fraley and her husband Jeff. Her cherished grandchildren, Dallas Piscopo and his wife Esthela, Joseph Piscopo, David Fraley and his wife Erica, Sean Fraley and his wife Courtney, Jenna Fraley, Thomas O’Neill, Matthew Piscopo and Michael Piscopo; and her adored great-grandchildren, Phoenix, Emma, Abby, Alyson, Zachary, Wyatt and Aubree. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary Vollero-Dantis and her husband James, Gerald Dunphy and his wife Elizabeth and her sister-in-law Lisa Dunphy.
Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the love she gave so freely.
May she rest in eternal peace.
