Eldia M. (Morgans) Strepko

Eldia M. Strepko, 85, of Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Care One King James in Navesink.  She was born Eldia Morgans on January 11, 1935 in Lansford, Pennsylvania, where she grew up.  Fifty-nine years ago, Eldia settled in Linden, New Jersey to raise her family.  In 1995, she moved to Manalapan, New Jersey, where she lived with her daughter Rose, before settling in Lincroft, New Jersey about 12 years ago.  In 2018, Eldia relocated to Atlantic Highlands.

She was predeceased by her parents, George and Mary Morgans, her beloved husband, Bernard J. Strepko, and her sister, Ruth Breiner.  Eldia is survived by her loving daughters, Carol Szostak and her husband, Jan, of Lincroft, and Rose Scelfo of South River, and her dear siblings, Maryann Bisbing, Betty Fritz, Georgine Fritzinger, Morgan Morgans, George Morgans, and John Morgans.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Tiara Falcone and her husband, Joseph, Erik Szostak and his wife, Kim, Raymond Scelfo and his wife, Nancy, and Amanda Scelfo and her adored great grandchildren, Joseph Falcone, Aidan Falcone, Penelope "Penny" Scelfo, Raymond "RJ" Scelfo, Austin Szostak, Savannah Szostak and Hudson Szostak.  Eldia will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, visitation and services will be held privately for the immediate family only.  Eldia will be interred at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.  For information, directions or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
