Edward Linsky Obituary

Edward W. Linsky, 85, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 23, 2021 at his son’s home in Hazlet, New Jersey.  Edward was born on July 4, 1935 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where he grew up.  After marriage, Edward and his wife, Mary, settled in Old Bridge, New Jersey, where they remained to raise their family and have lived for over 50 years.  While living in the Old Bridge, Edward was a devout parishioner of Most Holy Redeemer Church in Matawan for many years, as well as a member of their Holy Name Society.  Before his retirement, Edward was Vice President of Tooling for Parkway Plastic Inc. in Piscataway, New Jersey, where he worked for 47 years.  He was also a proud United States Navy Veteran, having served our country during the Korean Conflict Era.  In his spare time, Edward enjoyed bowling, fishing, amateur radio, and was an avid sports fan.  In addition, Edward and his wife were competitive dancers together in their younger years.  Most of all, Edward was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

He was predeceased by his parents and his beloved and devoted wife, Mary (Wadja) Linsky.  Edward is survived by his loving children, Jacqueline Braniff of Forked River, New Jersey, and Edward S. Linsky and his wife, Karen, of Hazlet, New Jersey, along with his cherished grandchildren, Logan, Devlin, Ryan, David, Dana, Joshua, Brittany, and Jon, and six adored great grandchildren.
