Edward Jackson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and devoted man of faith, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born and raised in New York, Ed was a proud Yankees and Giants fan who never lost his quick wit or playful sense of humor. He had a special way of making people laugh — always ready with a joke, a funny comment, or a little good-natured teasing to keep everyone on their toes. He loved to make people smile, and his humor and lighthearted spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ed was the devoted husband of Rosalia for 54 years — a partnership built on love, loyalty, and shared faith. Together, they built a beautiful life.
Ed was a hardworking and selfless man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. A blue-collar man with a big heart, he worked tirelessly — often taking on multiple jobs — to support and care for those he loved.
He was also a man of Catholic faith. He was an active and faithful member of his parish community, serving for many years as a Eucharistic Minister. His legacy lives on in the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the quiet strength he modeled every day. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him
Predeceased by his beloved daughters, Haydee and Elizabeth, Ed is now reunited with them in eternal life.
He is survived by his loving wife Rosalia, his daughter Rose (Michelle), and his grandchildren Louis and Nicholas.
In respect of Edward’s wishes he was privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from Noon to 2:00 PM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 25 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
