Edna Quinn Obituary

Edna M. Quinn, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on December 5, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on February 11, 1952, in Red Bank, New Jersey, to the late George and Wilma (Neidinger) Leone.

Edna spent her entire life in the town she loved, Keyport, New Jersey, where she grew up and later raised her own family. Her heart knew no bounds, and she poured her love into every aspect of her life, especially as a devoted wife to her surviving husband, William Quinn. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, compassion, and unwavering support for one another.

Edna's love extended beyond her family to the many children she served as a Paraprofessional for special education within the Keyport Board of Education. For approximately ten years, she dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting students with special needs, leaving a lasting impact on countless lives through her patience and understanding.

Her commitment to service was further exemplified by her tireless volunteer work with the Keyport Food Pantry. Edna's efforts ensured that many families in her community had access to essential resources, and her presence became a symbol of hope and care for those in need.

A loving mother, Edna's pride and joy were her children, Kelly Savicky and her husband Andrew, and David Quinn and his wife Michele. She instilled in them the values of hard work, empathy, and the importance of family. As a grandmother, Edna adored her grandchildren, Emily, Morgan, and Madison, and became their most enthusiastic supporter, never missing an event or a chance to express her pride in their accomplishments.

Edna also leaves behind her sister, Barbara Leone, and her lifelong friend, Ann Silcox, who both shared in the joys and sorrows of her journey through life. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories and laughter they shared.

Edna's legacy is one of unwavering love and selfless service. Her warm smile, gentle embrace, and the loving words she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her will be deeply missed. Edna M. Quinn's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with the threads of devotion, generosity, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family, friends, and community. Her spirit will continue to inspire those she leaves behind, guiding them with the light of her loving memory.
