Dorothy M Martin

Dorothy M. Martin, 86, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, March 13th, 2025, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born November 11, 1938 in Woodside, New York, where she grew up. She moved to Hazlet, New Jersey in December of 1979 where she raised her daughter Kim. Dorothy was a devoted member of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church. She loved music and her family, her three girls were the true love of her life. Most of all, Dorothy was a devote mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harry G. and Agnes (Peterson) Martin and her siblings, James Martin, Marilyn Strelizek and Carol McFadden. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter, Kim Ellen Larnaitis and her husband Scott and her two cherished grandchildren, Rebecca Larnaitis and Eryn Larnaitis.

Arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/ Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect to Dorothy’s wishes, she was privately cremated. A Funeral Mass will be held for Dorothy on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.
